The grey sunray dial is architecturally composed — slim black rectangular baton indices sit at each hour against the brushed silver surface, while a fine minute track runs along the outer edge. But the centrepiece is the open-heart aperture at 9 o'clock — a dramatic oval window revealing the gold escapement wheel, ruby jewels, and oscillating balance wheel of the automatic movement in full motion. A 24-hour subdial sits above the aperture, and a seconds subdial below, adding functional depth to the mechanical theatre.
